World Birding Media

A 'work-in-progress', given the amount of material being uploaded on the internet my intention is to design a repository of birding media based on Sibley & Monroe's Classification

Currently the project is in it's infancy but loosely based on ideas such as Birdforum's Opus

Until I feel confident of this sites security and have got a basic understanding of what I'm trying to achieve I will probably be doing most revision myself but feel-free to 'register' and offer advice, hopefully I can start adding other 'contributors' soon.

At this time I envisage a page for each species incorporating all recognized sub-species, with several hi-quality images and links to other material such as photographs, video, audio and web-based information. If it's feasible location data might be added too.

For the time-being go to the first page and let me know what you think,
