Pheasant Coucal Centropus phasianinus

Captured a juvenile on the corner of Union St and Parry St Newcastle CBD. Certainly not the scrubby wetland area it prefers ( unless you go back 200 years. Will take it to Blackbutt Rederve tomorrow.
