Since the late ‘seventies, I have birded in many regions of the world (although the ‘biodiversity’ of Central and South America still beckons!) and from 1987 to 2014 I made South-East Queensland my home, where I took many ‘Australian’ and ‘overseas’ birders to view the great array of rare and exciting avian-life such as Black-breasted Button-quail, Marbled Frogmouth, White-eared Monarch, Sooty and Powerful Owl (amongst others…..)
Throughout this website are pages devoted to the many tours and excursions that I have undertaken
Almost annually I made trips to far-west Queensland in search of Hall’s Babblers, Bourke’s Parrots, Chestnut-breasted Quail-thrush and other delights. Now back and resident in Brisbane. I have been ‘released’ from my ‘nine-to-five’ commitments with the spatial-industry (…and have a little more ‘spare-time’) I would like to offer my services as an experienced guide for bird and faunal-tours within Australia and the wider-world. Please contact me if you require me to show you some of the great birds and wildlife on offer and we can plan an itinerary to suit.
