Here is another mystery, recorded in Sturt NP, NSW 07.30am 29 June 2012. The sound that I’m unable to identify is a soft “a-woo” repeated on the section on several occasions but particularly after the Little Crow’s 3-note outburst. All I can find on the available references are Spinifex Pigeon (which I’ve observed but not heard)

(Thanks to all those that answered my request, looks like I should have known this one, have heard a lot of them over the years but didn’t recognize the call on the segment, Crested Pigeon it is (hangs head in shame……)
