Aviceda Wildlife Sounds

Recently whilst doing some bird-sound recording near Samford (SE Qld) I heard this call coming from the grassy under-story. I’m fairly sure that it’s a buttonquail, (probably a Painted Turnix varia) but the habitat looked a bit unusual for this species.  Any comments or ideas appreciated. Unfortunately, this spectrogram isn’t very useful as the ‘markers’…

Roger McNeill recently recorded this sound whilst taping nocturnal bird species.     I think it may be a Blossom Bat but we need confirmation.
